The Gathering 2023: A CARE Convening

CARE is building a thorough safety net to help support people and pets in underserved communities. We’re coming together to share resources, and amplify historically marginalized voices because it’s foundational to Human and Animal Well-being. And we cannot do it without you!

Because The Gathering is rooted in community wisdom, expect to hear from community leaders who know the struggle, beauty, and ingenuity of their beloved communities. But more importantly, they know what's needed to make a long lasting impact.

The Gathering is a great opportunity to open your heart, deeply listen, learn, and become part of a conversation that leads to real sustainability.

The Gathering in 2023 will include:

• National BIPOC Leadership Discussion on Community Wisdom
• Racial Disparities in Animal Welfare Report in partnership with University of Tennessee

• Community Animal CARE Presentation [New Programing from CARE]
• Changemakers Circle Reception
• Meet our Veterinarians: Dr. Taylor and Dr. Boyd
• REDI for Action: Tools to continue to use the coursework for more lifesaving
